About the event
So often right now, the news, social media, and conversations with loved ones ask us to take in more than our bodies know what to do with. Opinions, grief, anger, and fear move quickly. We rarely get time to pause and notice how any of it is landing. This session offers space to slow down and tend to what we are carrying before we are asked to respond or react. This practice focuses on grounding, stabilizing, and digestion. Not only of food, but of experience. Through gentle seated and restorative yoga postures paired with accessible breathing practices, we will explore how the body processes what we take in emotionally, mentally, and physically. We will move slowly to support nervous system settling and make room for complexity. There will be time for reflective journaling and optional sharing, held with care and without pressure to speak.
