Ancestor Circles with Kama Tai A 5-part series Sundays: May 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28 12:30–2:30 pm @ Kalamazoo Backyard Yogis This is a community offering facilitated by Kama Tai Mitchell. Over five Sundays, participants will gather in a guided circle focused on reflection, connection, and communal support. Kama’s work draws from her own spiritual and healing practices and may include guided relaxation, embodiment cues intended to support nervous system regulation, shamanic drumming, reflection, and group sharing. Because this work is specific to Kama’s personal practice and lineage, we encourage anyone interested to reach out to her directly with questions about the process, expectations, or whether the series is a good fit. Pricing (set by the facilitator): Sliding scale $100 — community care $300 — steady income $500 — pay-it-forward (supports community care pricing) Pre-requisite: Participants should have an established relationship with spiritual or ancestral healing work and feel comfortable engaging in personal reflection in a group setting. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations You can cancel your class up to 24 hours before start time through your account. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, please send us a message. You will not be able to cancel through the app at that point, but messaging lets us open your spot for someone else. We look at situations case by case. Our class rates are low on purpose, and this structure helps us keep them that way. If you do not show up, a $5 late cancel or no-show fee will be credited to your account. We get it, life happens. If something unexpected comes up, message us and we will do our best to work with you. Fee waiver option Your fee can be waived if you bring • a box of canned sparkling water • a box of individually wrapped herbal tea bags Leave it next to the fridge and send us a message. To request the credit, use the contact form on our website and include your name and the email tied to your Wix account so we can apply it correctly. 3 Person Minimum Classes Classes marked with a “3 person minimum” in the title may be canceled if fewer than three people are enrolled. These decisions are made within 4 hours of class start time. If a class is canceled, we will email you and try to text you if a phone number is on file. Please check the enrollment count when signing up, especially if you are traveling or adjusting your schedule. If we cancel: If a teacher no-shows, which is rare but we are human too, you will receive • a full refund if you dropped in • a code for 3 free classes • a KBY t-shirt
